A programming glitch that allowed skiers to buy season passes to Squaw Valley/Alpine Meadows for only $1 was too good to be true. Passes normally run for over $800, but for a few hours last week skiers thought they scored the deal of the century. Squaw Valley says although they cannot honor the $1 price, they are offering discounted passes to those customers who purchased the erroneously priced ski passes. [Reno Gazette-Journal]
