Starchitecture Watch

A developer in Italy recently commissioned big architecture names like David Chipperfield and Richard Meier to complete a "curated" village of luxury homes, and the Times reports construction is wrapping up. The starchitect-designed villas, plopped in the town of Gardone Riveria, offer a range of construction styles, from sustainable and stone-hewn to ultra modern. Eight of the dozen or so units are already sold, with prices ranging from $2.5M to $19M. [NYT]
