Pandora co-founder Tim Westergren hasn't even built his house, a timber-and-glass compound to lope across 8,297 square feet, and already the neighbors are not having it. Humble folk near Westergren's plot in Northern California's rural Inverness Park are, according to the San Francisco Chronicle dismayed at the house's scale—and even the number of bathrooms (10). According to Curbed SF, "the high toilet count is inspiring rumors that the vacation home is some sort of Trojan horse for a boutique hotel." Westergren and his wife are trying to smooth things over admitting they "can imagine having family and friends as guests, and perhaps annually hosting both our extended families for several weeks or more."
