French Rental Chalet Comes With Pool, Guaranteed Romance

New, 1 comment

Curious to see how the other half lives, but don't have a spare million or twenty? No worries, because you can rent the new, insanely glam Chalet Husky for just $2,015 to $8,750 per person, per week, instead. In return, you'll be able to accommodate 14 of your closest friends in the 7 en-suite bedrooms (got rugrats? There's a private nanny and "exclusive kids' club", too). Perhaps you're looking to rekindle romance? There's plenty more to love (6576-square-feet of it), including details that would make any adult film actor jealous. Join us for a tour, won't you?

Val d'Isère is known for its quaint, village charm, but Chalet Husky is a contemporary pad, featuring a 104-foot-long swimming pool with rainbow lighting and infinity waterfall, Jacuzzi, a glass walkway suspended over an indoor atrium garden, hammam, and massage room. There's also a climbing wall, fitness center (the archery and rifle ranges admittedly do harken back to tradition), ski room, and three-car garage.

As one of luxury tour operator Scott Dunn's exclusive Flagship properties, there are many perks offered, including a driver, private transfers, breakfast, dinner, tea, happy hour, at on-call chalet manager, and hosts to tend to your needs.

Post-hot tub hijinks or archery practice, head to the open-plan main level, swaddle yourself in a sheepskin, kick it on one of the oversized leather sofas in front of the massive fireplace, and see what your private chef has whipped up for afternoon tea or evening canapés (served with Laurent-Perrier, natch). Hard day? There's also a complimentary drinks cabinet featuring Sipsmith spirits. Do save room for your five-course dinner, however. King-size furry beds await (all rooms have TVs and en-suite baths, as well) to give you Champagne wishes and powder dreams.
