Here's Who Has Snow Across North America

As New York and the Great Lakes try to unbury from between 3 and 6 feet of snow, Curbed Ski decided to take a look at who else in the country has snow right now. This map from NOAA shows the current snow cover in North America as observed from satellites. The snow is in white, so much of Colorado, Wyoming, Idaho, and Montana are already in winter, full stop. California, on the other hand, is relying on mostly man-made snow to open more resorts in the coming week, as there isn't much of a natural base at the moment.
