Big news in the affordable housing world: plans are moving forward in both Aspen and Telluride for new units that will make it easier for all the ski bums out there. In Aspen, a ramshackle apartment complex on Park Avenue is under contract to a developer who plans to build new affordable housing units that take advantage of the city's housing credit program. In Telluride, the Town Council just voted unanimously to move forward with a 9-unit affordable housing project on the southeast corner of Spruce St. and Pacific Avenue.
