Chillingly Beautiful Château Mixes Antiques with Modernity

New, 4 comments

Elle Spain recently took a tour inside an 18th-century château that's been rehabbed by a Dutch family. Located in France's historical province of Brittany, this château is a bit of an ice queen. Primarily outfitted in a pale green-blue palette, the interiors are also marked by eerie features like foreboding exposed beams and accessorized taxidermies. Potentially spooky details aside, the home no doubt lavishes in a gorgeous mix of old and new objects: one can find antique tables and a Louis XV-style fireplace one room, and then Phillippe Starck's Costes chairs in another.
