Jason Bateman Bids Adieu to Koi Pond, Lists Midcentury Home

Arrested Development star and self-described dummy Jason Bateman and his wife, Amanda Anka, have listed their modestly handsome midcentury home in Hollywood Hills West for $2.25M. They're moving on after 12 or so years in the place, which they bought for $885K, meaning they likely finished renovating Ernest Borgnine's estate, which they nabbed in February of 2013 for $3M.

The LA Times notes big ol' walls and doors of glass, a good-sized kitchen island, scandalously exposed beams, and, in the backyard, a waterfall that "cascades into the koi pond," near which Bateman probably sits daily to contemplate the deeper meanings behind The Change-Up and The Switch, two very different films he was in.
