Have a nomination for a jaw-dropping listing that would make a mighty fine House of the Day? Get thee to the tipline and send us your suggestions. We'd love to see what you've got.

Location: San Mateo, California
Price: $1,547,000
The Skinny: An upstanding, recently remodeled member of the Eichler community of San Mateo, California, just came on the market. As is often the case with an Eichler makeover, the bathrooms and kitchen were completely redone, both with Caesarstone countertops replacing what was likely plastic laminate, and the latter with "top of the line appliances" and a wine fridge. Throughout the "open living space, hallways, and master bedroom," new concrete floors were brought in. The new roof is under warranty until 2017, and the backyard is now "complete with a built-in gas BBQ area that extends Eichler's indoor/outdoor aesthetic." While it last sold in 2003 for $806K, all this newness coupled with the increasing desirability of Eichler homes has it marked for $1,547,000.
