Oregon's Mt. Ashland ski resort just announced a partnership with the Mountain Rider's Alliance, an organization that aims to create sustainable, community-oriented ski areas. The MRA has also been working with Maine's solar-friendly Mt. Abram ski area, and since their involvement Mt. Abram has seen a 35% jump in skier visits and a 20% jump in revenue.
