Refurbished Vintage Camper is the Cutest in all the Desert

New, 3 comments

Over on the Vintage Revivals blog, DIY whiz Mandi Gubler has a big reveal: the tiny, drab 1972 Bell Travel Trailer she bought for $1,000 in July has been transformed into a relatively more spacious but infinitely more vibrant retreat. The four-month long makeover involved taking out a cupboard, bunk, and door, covering the walls with bright white paint and sunny wallpaper, and adding in glassy, "lawyer-style" shelves for storage. But of course, to stand out from all the other twee campers on the Internet, the Nugget is also decked out in hand-made details, starting with a floor covered in hand-cut geometric pinewood tiles.
