The fourth most-popular Beatle Ringo Starr is trying once again to unload the Woody Creek, Colorado ranch that he shares for very few weeks a year with his Bond girl wife, Barbara Bach. The rustic estate with a horse pasture is known as the Shoot N' Star Ranch (perhaps the former owner thought that naming the 15.8-acre spread a Spaghetti Western thing like that would appeal to an foreigner with the surname 'Starr'). It was just re-listed for $3.85 million, the exact same price it failed to sell for last fall. The three-bedroom abode sits on the banks of a river with the cinematic name of Roaring Fork. There's a wealth of tacky Southwestern Americana—one bedroom has no less than six illustrations of Indian braves in it, and the master suite contains a portrait of a noble steed— and Curbed Ski deems it an "early '90s mountain time warp" that is clearly coming off "A Hard Day's Night."
The living room (complete with semi-abstract American flag painting) has vaulted ceilings, exposed wood beams, a neat rock fireplace, and the kitchen has pretty blue tile countertops. But in case anyone mistakenly thinks that the fourth most-popular Beatle lives modestly off his millions in royalties, just check out the palatial 17th-century mansion on 200 acres in Surrey, England, complete with heliopad, indoor pool, and cinema, that he put on the market this fall for a rumored £24M.
