Things are actually pretty awful in the Chinese townthat makes the majority of the planet's Christmas decorations. According to The Guardian, in the 'Christmas village' of Yiwu, a 19-year-old resident "works long days in the red-splattered lair, taking polystyrene snowflakes, dipping them in a bath of glue, then putting them in a powder-coating machine until they turn red."
