Although it was voted one of the 10 Best Houses in America by Architectural Record magazine back in 1961, this curvaceous midcentury home by the architect Jules Gregory in Lambertville, New Jersey is having a hard time selling. First listed in Jan. 2012 for $1.25M, then re-listed last December for $999K, the $1,660-square-foot abode with a rippling roof is now on the market for $899K. The four-bedroom property on ten wooded acres comes with a large guesthouse that once served as the architect's studio, and has an undulating wooden ceiling, a sunken living room, and glass walls galore. O.K., so maybe it's 50 miles from the closest major city (Philadelphia) but that's no reason not to buy this distinctive dwelling.
