Developers behind Aspen's proposed Sky Hotel agreed to lower the new lodge's height so it falls within the zone district's 40-foot limit. This is the second height concession developers have made since the Aspen City Council began reviewing the project on December 1. Plans are in the works to tear down the existing 44,000-square-foot hotel and replacing it with a new structure that will be about 90,000 square feet. [Aspen Daily News]
