Recently completed by Brussels-based firm m architecture, this modest wooden house in Thuin, Belgium looks like the perfect home for those interested in downsizing, but can't yet commit to real tiny houses. At 1184 square feet, the entirely light wood structure is more spacious than the typical tiny cabins and renovated trailers (which are usually less than two hundred square feet), but the interior living spaces are still slotted close together, with plenty of economical storage space squeezed in. For example, there is the lofted bed accessed via a staircase with a gentler incline. Also note the dining table that seems to float in the middle of everything, as well as the compact shower.
