Dreamy Australian design blog The Design Files just unleashed a showstopper of a showhouse, filled with locally designed furniture and other home goods from more than 30 designers. Assembled from scratch in a warehouse in Melbourne, the curated rooms are meant to showcase "the ultimate Australian home," and feature open-plan spaces with glass walls, avant-garde light fixtures paired with hanging plants, gorgeous ceramics on the tables and walls, and a big focus on a blue-gray hue, which decorates both the kitchen and the master bedroom. Gone are the very bright colors from last year's house, though gallery-style walls hung with cutesy prints are seemingly here to stay. The striking interior shots below are just the tip of the iceberg. There's a huge gallery of shots, over at The Design Files.
