Business Insider just ranked the 15 best ski resorts in America and the results look more like a list of the busiest ski areas, not necessarily the best. While historic ski towns like Sun Valley and Aspen made the cut, Curbed Ski is a bit shocked that Mammoth Mountain took spot #2 and Vail ranked #1. While we love skiing these bohemeth resorts, we also love smaller (and less crowded!) spots like Alta and Crested Butte, both of which were noticeably absent. Check out the full list, over here.
