Inside Billionaire Richard Branson's $180K Per Week Ski Chalet

Calling all skiers looking for the perfect "super chalet," head to the Swiss Alps and rent Virgin billionaire Richard Branson's ski mansion. Simply called "The Lodge," the Verbier abode costs between $88,000 and $180,000 per week as part of the Virgin Limited Edition collection of properties. Curious about how the top 1% spend their vacations?

The pricey 9-bedroom rental comes with a 12-person staff including a spa therapist, a Michelin-star trained chef, and a whole slew of high-end ski amenities. Renters can expect hot tubs galore, a private pool, mini ice rink, pool tables, and Pebbles - the chalet dog. The decorating looks like your normal mountain-chic, except for a weird obsession with stuffed dogs and the Virgin Atlantic rubber ducks. The only downside in this fancy schmancy ski chalet? All that money can't make up for the fact that the Lodge is still an exhausting 250 meters from the main ski lift. Sure, you can ski into the property, but what billionaire wants to walk to the ski lift? Curbed Ski suggests that Branson check out this Telluride mansion, complete with private funicular to the ski slope. Now that's luxury.
