Whistler police have arrested a female accomplice who allegedly helped a male BASE jumper jump out of a Whistler gondola on February 6. The ski town local allegedly assisted the BASE jumper by opening the cabin doors and filming his jump (see the video, here). The two caused at least $10,000 in damage to multiple gondola cabins and now face some serious jail time. The woman could face up to 10 years for charges of mischief over $5,000 and 2 years for obstruction of justice. The male suspect is still out there somewhere and police believe he's from another country. He could also face upwards of 10 years in prison if caught. Assuming these two alleged hooligans posted their own videos online, no word on why in the world they didn't edit out their faces. Facepalm.
