Up for $7.74M: the Former Estate of France's National Diva

New, 2 comments

Somewhere between Cannes and Nice, in France's Côte D'Azur, sits this five-acre plot once owned by Edith Piaf, France's world-renown, skinny-eyebrowed chanteuse, an icon probably best known for singing "La Vie en Rose." Asking €5.65M, or roughly $7.74M, the hilltop estate, along with the three guest suites and caretaker's abode, was built in the 19th century from local stone and clay tile, according to AD, which recently featured the house on its website. Besides the extra dwellings, the grounds offer fruit trees, a pool, and tennis and boules courts. Do have a look at the photos—stone-walled interiors and all—below.
