Sean Hannity Lists Long Island Brick Colonial for $3.6M

New, 37 comments

Fox News talk show host Sean Hannity just listed a waterfront mansion on the Sound side of Long Island for $3.6M, but is he making plans to get out of New York for good? It would seem to echo his threat, in response to New York governor Andrew Cuomo's charge that "extreme conservatives… have no place in New York," to leave the state for somewhere lighter on the property tax, if not for the fact that he still seems to be holding on to the larger and much pricier place in nearby Centre Island that he and his family have lived in since 2008. ("I can't wait to get out of here. I really can't,'' Hannity would later respond, adding: "I can't wait to sell my house to somebody who wants it.") So what's up with this one? Listing photos show a large, double-height entryway with arched windows and marble flooring that leads into a pretty traditionally appointed four-bedroom, which also sports a generous great room with wet bar, a basement-level three-car garage, and six fireplaces. Built in 2001, the 4,800-square-foot estate is an early-aughts mini-manse through and through, but hey, that kind of thing is still a warm bowl of porridge for many a homebuyer.
