The tight-knit community of BASE jumpers in Whistler has come out against the illegal February 6 jump off of the Peak 2 Peak Gondola. Police are still looking for the male suspect who completed the BASE jump, but he won't find safe haven among peers. Local BASE jumpers say that the alleged gondola jump violated their "leave no trace" policy and helps create a bad reputation for BASE jumpers. [Whistler Question]
