Ski-In/Ski-Out for $79 K With This Sneaky RV Log Cabin

New, 8 comments

It's official: luxurious, mountain-inspired mobile homes are becoming a trend, and this 400-square-foot RV has everything from a real kitchen to a spacious screened-in porch that will inspire you to head to the hills. Although it looks like a small cabin, the so-called ESCAPE- designed by architect Kelly Davis- costs only $79,000 and can be hooked to a car and driven just about anywhere (mobile ski-in/ski-out? Yes, please!). The design incorporates cedar lap siding and the entire structure is made from recyclable or "sustainable growth materials," resulting in "virtually no carbon footprint." The fire place heats the whole place, and that full size bathroom is bigger than many in NYC. It looks like those prefab cabins out of Jackson Hole just might have some competition.
