Last week, we checked out a rather historic whaling captain's abode on Nantucket's Joy Street, but failed to notice that a cute pied-a-terre right next door had also hit the market.
The three bedroom, one bath at 1 Joy Street was built in 1920 and is set on a tiny (as in "Variance granted for undersized lot") .07 acre parcel. The first floor consists of a living room, dining room, kitchen, two bedrooms, and one full bath with a jetted tub/shower." A third bedroom takes up the wee second floor. As for the ceiling height, well, all we can say is that they look very low [Sidenote: in addition to our call for listings to include floorplans, we'd like to formally request ceiling height be included as well]. That said, the rather lovely diminutive digs are yours for $789,000.
UPDATED: As a helpful commenter points out, the floorplan is actually available here.
