Warren Miller's First Dream Home in Sun Valley Wants $799K

New, 2 comments

Warren Miller's first dream home in Sun Valley is up for sale, and the tiny 1 bedroom, 1 bath home is asking a cool $799,000. Miller built the downtown Ketchum home by hand in 1949 before catching the surfing big, selling the home for $900, and high-tailing it to Southern California. Since then, the cabin was rebuilt in 2006 with in-floor radiant heat, a wood-burning fireplace, granite kitchen counters, and modern appliances. While there's no garage, there is access to underground parking and a storage locker. Only a few blocks from downtown, this Ketchum hideaway rocks a "cabin-in-the-woods" feel and we're loving the covered patio. Sure, $800K is steep for a one bedroom getaway, but how cool would it be to watch an old Warren Miller film in the home that started it all?
