Aspen Contemporary Manse Just Chopped $1 M Off Pricetag

A 6 bedroom/7 bathroom mansion with views of Aspen Mountain just got another price chop, and this time it was for a whopping $1,000,000. Although not as big as this expensive Vail price chop, there's a whiff of desperation as the now $13,750,000 house was originally on the market for $15.5 M in July 2013. A few chops later, the David Easton designed home is now a much better bargain with 8,055 square feet, huge windows, and great access to the Rio Grande Trail. So why the price downgrades? Clean lines and contemporary styling can't hide the hints of 1980s construction, just check out the library/living room and the sad hot tub.
