Spanish Architects' Forest Studio Looks Like a Clear Breadbox

When one starts tallying up all the isolated workspaces plunked in the middle of the woods, and when one starts keeping track of all of the super unusual offices architects design for themselves, it's very easy to see how something like the studio of Spanish firm Selgas Cano came to be. Captured by renown architectural photographer Iwan Baan, the architects' office sits like an oblong, transparent breadbox on a bed of crisping leaves. Realized back in 2009, this office was not the last time Jose Selgas and Lucia Cano have done the whole "glass box in the woods" bit; last year the firm designed a funky, midcentury-inspired house nearby Madrid.
