We first wrote about this Cotuit Federal back in September for a $1.2 million edition of Curbed Comparisons. Alas, a buyer has yet to be impressed by the circa 1793 abode and this week, the pricechopper has swooped into town and brought the ask down $205,000.
To refresh, the 13-room property was formerly run as the Josiah Sampson House Inn and weighs in at 4,688 square feet on one acre. Per the listing, "There are eight fireplaces, seven bedrooms all with en-suite baths, a butler's pantry, wood paneled den, a private deck, hot tub, gazebo and perennial gardens." The new asking price for the "carefully preserved" listing is $995,000.
