The Aspen City Council has finally approved plans for the redevelopment of the Hotel Aspen. Months of drama culminated in a compromise for the renovation of the popular downtown hotel, and final plans include three new homes totaling 8,400 square feet on the backside of the hotel. [Aspen Daily News]
