SFGate reports that Rem Koolhaas has just been tapped to build a 550-foot residential tower in San Francisco. The building will offer condos and rentals, with 27 percent of the units affordable enough for residents who make 60 percent of area's median income—about $58,250 for a family of four. The rest of the units will offer more extravagant, starchitect-style fare. Stay tuned! [SFGate via Arch Daily; previously]
