Of Course There's an Irish Pub at Airbnb's New Dublin HQ

Never a brand to shy away from a healthy dose of gimmicky weirdness, the latest HQ for Airbnb in Dublin, Ireland packs in amenities and design quirks that rival even the funkiest rooms at of the vacation rental site's stateside offices. Designed by local Dublin architects Heneghan Peng, the objective was to create an "open, creative and collaborative spaces which reflect the Airbnb ethos and culture," along with a decor scheme that felt customized to its city—which happens to be a very trendy thing for cool offices to do. Like San Francisco's Airbnb outpost, the space has rooms modeled after listed apartments from around the globe, as well as glass-walled meeting room "pods" that can either be pushed together to create a single space, or hinged in two. Other not so work focused perks include classic green telephone booths for private phone calls, an amphitheater-style hangout zone piled high with pillows, and even a traditional horseshoe-shaped bar complete with candelabra and a suit of armor.
