Soak Up the Spring Sunshine With Smith's I/OS Goggles

Like our sister sites over at Racked, Curbed Ski has entered the gear review game. Each week we'll be bringing you an "Editor's Pick," a go-to ski item that we just can't live without. Have an item you want us to check out? Drop us a line, here.

Whether you want to ski slush in the backcountry or soak up the sunshine while sipping beer on a mountain patio, eyewear is pretty important on these long springtime days. As any first-time spring skier can tell you (burned retinas anyone?) the sun can be brutal out there, and you won't always have easy access to pair of shades. Our solution: throw on a pair of the I/OS goggles from Smith Optics. These helmet compatible, rimless goggles have all the high-tech specs necessary for serious powderchasing (think 5X Anti-Fog technology, 3-layer, driwix face foam, and rimless interchangeable lens) but still have plenty of après-ski style. We especially love how good the world looks through these things; the peripheral vision is top notch. Rock the I/OS goggles and it won't matter if you don't make it across the pond-skim, right?
