Following the crappiest winter on record, Tahoe is finally getting a reprieve. After an epic dump left between 2-5 feet of fresh snow in the region, the heavens parted yesterday, making for what many describe as the best day of the season. Reportedly, "half of California's population" was out hitting the slopes, from Kirkwood to Squaw. The lines were brutal, but it's understandable when prior to this past storm, Tahoe was in drought mode, with less than 200 inches of total snowfall on record for the season. [Unofficial Networks]
