According to a now deleted post by the New York Observer, someone's already swooped in and rented the apartment belonging to the late, great Philip Seymour Hoffman —seemingly undeterred by the fact that the actor overdosed in the two-bedroom home in February. The $10,500/month abode, which Hoffman had lived in since the fall, offers oak floors, wood burning fireplace, and 10-foot-high beamed ceilings. [NYO via Curbed NY]
