Seven international architecture firms were shortlisted in a bid for the expansion of Mexico City's Benito Juarez International Airport, including those of Norman Foster, Zaha Hadid, and Richard Rogers. Construction could begin as soon as 2014 on the $5B project, which seeks to "alleviate severe congestion" at one of Latin America's busiest airports. [Arch Daily]
