Finally, a Way to Protect (And Use!) Your Phone on Adventures

Like our sister sites over at Racked, Curbed Ski has entered the gear review game. Each week we'll be bringing you an "Editor's Pick," a go-to ski item that we just can't live without. Have an item you want us to check out? Drop us a line, here.

Curbed Ski doesn't let a silly thing like work stop us from enjoying the great outdoors, but let's face it, this takes a toll on our technology. Much to the glee of our trusty iPhone, this season we protected our mobile office (read: cell phone) with the Mojo Refuel Armor Battery Case from ibattz. This handy product combines a sturdy case with a 2200mAh swappable battery unit for all day power and sealed ports that keep out dust and water. The exo-skeleton design has endured big powder days from Big Sky to Telluride and frankly, the phone looks great. Through it all, we've been able to keep "working" on the chair lift with plenty of battery juice for après-ski texts. It's a little heavier than normal phone cases, but we think the extra battery life is worth it. The best part? The Refuel Armor S is going to serve us well this summer too, as we mountain bike through dust, rain, and occasionally (but only occasionally) take a few spills. More details here.
