The New York Times reports that scaffolding and protective netting will begin to go up around NYC's former American Folk Art Museum today as the Museum of Modern Art prepares to dismantle it. MoMA filed an application to demolish the building earlier this month, taking the final steps in a hugely controversial move to raze the building to make room for an expansion. [NYT; previously]
