Sales launched yesterday for Pritzker Prize-winning architect Shigeru Ban's Cast Iron House, a condo conversion of an 1882 building in Manhattan for which Ban designed the interiors and the two-story penthouse additions up top. The least expensive unit is asking $4.975M, while the east penthouse wants all of $12.95M, and if the increased interest in Ban's Metal Shutter Houses is any indication, potential buyers should be lining right up.
