Explore a Wright-Designed Office in This Hokey Old Newsreel

British newsreel service British Pathe recently uploaded a huge cache of vintage newsreels to its YouTube channel, and we all know what that means. Time to listen to an Englishman marvel at the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Johnson Wax Administration Building in a segment called "The Office of a Dream!" Upon viewing the 1939 SC Johnson HQ and its adjacent research tower—which is getting a restoration after appearing in MoMA's "Frank Lloyd Wright and the City: Density vs. Dispersal"—the announcer opines that "modern businessmen might quite well be detained at this office in sheer wonderment," and that "the furniture to is built for the day after tomorrow."
