BREAKING: Rocky Mountain Super Pass Adds Eldora

New, 1 comment

Today, the Colorado season pass competition became even more intense with the announcement that the Rocky Mountain Super Pass has added Eldora Mountain Resort to its 2014-2015 lineup. Eldora, which is the closest ski area to Boulder, was on Vail Resort's epic pass this season, but that apparently didn't work out quite as planned. No word as to exactly why Eldora has jumped ship from Vail Resorts to Intrawest, but rumor has it that both locals and the ski resort were unhappy with the influx (and long lines!) from Vail Epic pass holders. Next season, the Rocky Mountain Super pass will featured unlimited, black-out free skiing at Winter Park, Copper Mountain, and Eldora, with six unrestricted days at Steamboat and three unrestricted days at Crested Butte. And don't expect sticker shock, the pass is priced at a reasonable $509 for adults and is available here. Tell us Curbediverse, are you a Vail Epic Pass or a Rocky Mountain Super Pass junkie?
