Much-ballyhooed Swiss architects Herzog & de Meuron have been selected to design the new Vancouver Art Gallery, which will be their first project in Canada. No plans for the 300,000-square-foot complex have been released, but for a preview, there's always the duo's "disarmingly lucid" Hamptons museum, their $65M Miami parking garage, the plans for their stunning new railway hub, or the Serpentine Pavilion they created with Ai Wei-Wei.
