The American Institute of Architects just named the winners of this year's AIA Housing Awards, which recognize the best, brightest new American homes—plus, you know, "promote the importance of good housing as a necessity of life, a sanctuary for the human spirit and a valuable national resource." Much like last year's winners, the 2014 class is all about sustainability and inclusiveness, from housing designed for autistic adults and senior citizens to eco-friendly structures that meet even the strictest energy standards.
