A block-long development site in NYC that was hawked as a perfect spot for Hudson Spire, the "potential future tallest tower in the U.S." has sold to developer Tishman Speyer for $238M in cash. Speyer was the original winner of the bid for neighboring Hudson Yards before the deal soured, so if an 1,800-foot skyscraper does come from this, it might also be considered the tallest spite house in the U.S. [Curbed NY; previously]
