A court in Valencia, Spain ruled in favor of architect Santiago Calatrava, finding that the Spanish political party EUPV slandered him with a website blaming him for the mounting repair and alteration costs of his already over-budget Valencia opera house. The EUPV must pay Calatrava €30K ($41K) in damages, which pales in comparison to the hundreds of millions his dashing-yet-delicate designs have set back Valencia and New York City.
