'Gaudí-Inspired' Pad Looks Like it Was Built For Mermaids

Perfect for the mermaid with a spare $15M to throw around, this brokerbabble-described "life-size abalone shell" in Laguna Beach looks like a pearly underwater grotto washed up on the shore. Designed by Calif.-based architect Brion Jeannette and "influenced by excursions to Barcelona," the two-bedroom, 3,000-square-foot beach house is said to have "subtle hints of Gaudi-inspired design elements," though there's nothing quite subtle about seapunk-hued walls, undulating, silvery furniture, tribal sun chandeliers, or a shell-art bathroom befitting a certain fishtailed Disney princess.
