Now that the snow has stopped (?), the state-designated Wildflower Capital of Colorado can breathe a sigh of relief and gear up for its 28th annual Crested Butte Wildflower Festival, July 7-13. Over 200 events, including hands-on workshops, lectures, special dinners, hikes, jeep and van tours, and garden tours draw crowds to the tiny town.
