Al Capone Suite Wire

Curbed Miami's Sean McCaughan recently checked in to the Biltmore Hotel's notorious Everglades Suite—known as the Al Capone Suite to most—and dutifully documented his stay. "It's two stories, with windows on either end, an open mezzanine, heavy wood paneling and cabinetry, a stone fireplace, and hand painted ceilings," explains McCaughan. "Basically, every inch of it is historic and unalterable, which is great until you realize the entire second level (reached by a narrow stairway) is consumed by one small-ish, poorly lit bedroom." More musings, this way. [Curbed Miami]
