Architectural drawing may have been largely superseded by computer modeling over the last few decades, but all is not yet lost for the hand-drawn diagram. If anything, the increasing novelty of the practice has led to more appreciation of it as an art form, rose-tinted glasses being what they are. Recently, Arch Daily threw a spotlight on one of the best places for structure-focused illustrations, diagrams, and artworks on the Tumblrsphere, a blog called, simply enough, Drawing ARCHITECTURE. Featuring student and professional work in equal measure, plus the occasional masterpiece by a heavy-hitter (see above), the site strikes a great balance between grounded studies of form, abstract what ifs, and Seussian surrealities.
