Curbed NY is celebrating the city's Dutch heritage, rounding up physical remnants from NYC's 17th-century stint as New Amsterdam. For example, most of the street names in the Financial District are from the early-to-mid 1600s—Van Cortlandt!—and there are several old homesteads (and adorable converted barns) in the outer boroughs. It's quite the tour, so do have a look. [Curbed NY]
